Nigel Roberts, Executive Chairman of Cardiff Parkway Developments, welcomes the community to the new website for Cardiff Hendre Lakes, a proposed new business district served by the new Cardiff Parkway railway station.
As somebody who is from South Wales, I am pleased to be sharing the early designs for our exciting project.
Cardiff Hendre Lakes is an ambitious development that aims to be a catalyst for growth in the region. The development also aims to deliver a range of benefits, such as jobs, investment and better transport links, for the local area and wider region.
Meanwhile, Cardiff Parkway is a new railway station within the Hendre Lakes development which will improve connectivity locally as well as to other areas of the UK.
We have already been working with local councillors, AMs, MPs, as well as other stakeholders, such as Natural Resources Wales, Network Rail and Transport for Wales, to develop our plans.
Now it’s your turn to get involved. Over the coming weeks, we are carrying out a period of public engagement, including events in the local community, where you can share your views and help us to shape our proposals.
